logo-trans-large-CustomQ4 Services will be participating in a special workshop on July 12 hosted by the UCF Business Incubation Program. The workshop focuses on opportunities for small businesses with regard to Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding. Small businesses engaged in Research & Development (R&D) may be eligible to access  government grants through the SBIR and STTR programs.

SBIR provides early-stage R&D funding to small technology companies or individuals who are interested in forming a company.

STTR is a similar program that requires small businesses to team up with a research institution, such as a university.

The purpose of the workshops is to provide an extensive overview of the different phases of these two federal programs, as well as an in-depth discussion of a simple, yet highly-effective process for developing a competitive proposal.
