Removal, Installation and Certification

Q4 was contracted to relocate two British Airways (BA) full flight training devices from BA’s London training center’s to the new Jet2 training center. The program consisted of the disassembly, transportation, installation and re-certification of two full flight simulators, as well as a full size mock-up A320 cabin/door trainer with a fire/smoke trainer.

One of the full flight devices required a complete visual upgrade to include the removal of the original six Wide Area Collimator (WAC) displays, and installation and integration of a Q4 SupraVue 200′ x 40′ field-of-view cross cockpit display system.

Q4 accomplished the relocation of all training devices and completed the visual update within the contracted 65-day schedule.
