Increased FOV Creates Much Improved B2 Pilot Training
Q4 was contracted to integrate and install three new SupraVue Collimated Display Systems on the B2 training devices located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The replacement system provided the United States Air Force with an increased field-of-view from a 180′ x 40′ to a 220′ x 45′.
Without having to make major modifications to the original simulator platform, Q4 supplied the technology and experience to achieve this by installing the SupraVue product to provide the increased field of view that was required by the Air Force. Q4 successfully delivered and integrated the system with minimal modifications. The integration of the increased FOV enabled the training device to support a wider variety of new and improved training scenarios to better equip and enhance the B2 pilots.
